For Tim Thomas, the road to the National Hockey League was long. But for 10 years, he continued playing hockey, honing his goaltending skills and pursuing the dream of one day being a workhorse goalie in the NHL.  After a decade of hard work and persistence, Thomas finally got his chance and settled into that role with the Boston Bruins.

Thomas is a two time All American during his college days at the University of Vermont. He won the Finnish League Championship while playing for Helsinki. Also that year he won the award for “Best Player in the League.” Thomas has been selected for the NHL All Star team multiple times.

Tim met his wife Melissa while in college, and the couple has two daughters, Kiley and Kelsey, and a son, Keagen. Tim and Melissa make their home year-round on the North Shore of Massachusetts.
